This ice cream shop has an incredible history and charm that makes every visit special, with a wide variety of creative flavors and generous portions. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and fresh, offering a perfect texture that's not too cold or flavorless, making it one of the best I've ever tasted in the region. Friendly service and a lovely outdoor seating area complete the experience, though be sure to bring cash as card payments require a minimum purchase.

Last week I went to attend a close friend's memorial service at the Bunker Hill Church in Jefferson, Maine. It was a solemn day and after the service, I drove to Round Top Ice Cream Stand, I asked a young lady at the counter that I liked to purchase a half gallon blueberry ice cream, and I asked for some ice so I could pack it and drove back to Boston, MA. The young lady was so friendly and helpful, she asked one of her co-worker to help for packing. They packed and wrapped and sealed so tight that when I got home the half gallon of blueberry ice cream were still nicely frozen. I commend the fine service of the young ladies at the Round Top Ice Cream Stand. I would definitely go back for the so delicious blueberry ice cream next time when I visit Darmariscotta, ME.
