Our go-to dining spot in Houlton is the Big Stop at the Irving truck stop. The food quality is impressive, surpassing that of the nearby Courtyard Cafe with its hefty price tag. Use to love this place but they have changed recently..... Went in for breakfast the other day, food was ok and the young waitress I had wasn't that pleasant at all.

I've been coming here for 20 years and always had great food and service. The last two visits have been terrible food has changed,portion and quality have both gone down, and even the waitresses that I've known for years seem to lack any concern for customers! They said there was a change of ownership,you can certainly see a difference!!
