The salty air and nautical decor immediately set a relaxing mood as I savored the clam strip entrí©e, its light batter and generous portion satisfying every craving. Attentive staff ensured a seamless experience, thoughtfully timing our dishes so each bite remained warm, while the homemade desserts and variety beyond fried options promised a return visit soon.

Enjoyed a relaxing lunch by the sea, surrounded by a fishing-themed ambiance. The clam strip entree was served promptly and in generous portions, with a light and flavorful batter. The mashed potatoes on the side were particularly outstanding. Looking forward to returning to this welcoming community restaurant with a diverse menu beyond fried options.

I've been to the Anglers Restaurant in Newport. Every summer I go with my mom and sisters. We have always had excellent food. Fried seafood and chicken tenders. I haven't been to the one in searsport so their cook sounds like definitely isn't good at all. Had the fish and chips as described yes they're sliced potatoes but they weren't oily and they weren't tasteless. I'm sorry you had a bad experience in searsport anglers. There's a restaurant where the weathervane used to be in searsport. My mom and her sister went there and their fried food was tough and over cooked. So I wouldn't recommend there either.

We just paid 58.00 for a cup of clam chowder ,potatoes weren't cooked well , I had fish and chips ,2 pieces of haddock the size 3"x1" and the chips were sliced potatoes oily and tasteless,And the scallops and salmon ,they chopped them in to little pieces they may have been 2 very small scallops lol and will no talk about the salmon omg! .Don't waste your hard earned money !

Fastest service, nicest staff, the best seafood menu in the area, The scallops,haddock and fantail shrimp was cooked to perfection.
Can!t beat the prices. Treat yourself to the Onion Rings, no dripping grease on these bad boys.
