After work, I enjoy a quiet meal at this restaurant where the food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is friendly. The staff, especially Jackie and Betty, are attentive and create a welcoming environment that makes each visit enjoyable.

Went with a friend/co-worker to try this place out, due to the high review rating. But after the experience we've had I'm wondering if their close friends are leaving them positive feedback to keep them in business. At first entrance it feels like an authentic bittersweet/melancholic time capsule ambience. Which I liked and had me looking forward to how the food would taste with eagerness. The customer service was; absent. No real sense of interaction or attempt to give an optimal dine-in experience. Yet noticed others whom arrived at the latter were attended to more promptly and frequent. But that's not what had me give this poor review. It was the mediocre overly priced meals of a New York steak platter with the stuffed baked potato and clam chowder. For starters the chowder was as if it was some type of instamix concoction that wasn't prepped/ mixed properly and had the seasoning forgotten. But I didn't want to let that set any biases of my steak to come.
Now once the steak platters arrived, co-worker and myself looked at it with.. regret.
Steak had NO flavoring whatsoever and not really grilled to say. The bread literally was the only well made item of the plate. Idk if we went at a bad time or day. I'm still willing to give it another chance because I really want to find some good comfort food.
