Second Street serves some of the best breads, sandwiches, and rolls you'll ever taste, and their stuffed breads are absolutely packed with flavor. Getting there early is key because everything sells out fast, and once you try their sausage bread or chocolate bread, you'll be hooked for good.

Words can't capture the magic of this bakery. Each visit, I leave with bags full of their delicious breads and sandwiches, especially the sausage bread that warms up perfectly with a slather of butter. The flavors are incredible, and the prices make it an experience I can't wait to repeat.

Been coming here since my high school days in the 70's most amazing sandwiches mini pizzas to die for. The St. Joe's bread is outrageously delicious. A Jersey City Icon. If you are new to JC or live here and never tried it go and try it.You won't be disappointed
