After craving conchas and not wanting to drive to my usual panadería, I stopped by Cardenas and was thrilled to find fresh bread right out of the oven. Although the customer service from the ladies wasn't the best, the quality of the bolillos and the friendly cashier made up for it, especially during these times when they prioritize safety and cleanliness. The variety of freshly made pan dulce was impressive, and everything I tried was delicious, making this a worthwhile visit in my new area.
