The food here is mediocre, but add to the poor service, I would not dine here.

Some server named Kris was loud with the locals and was complaining about customers. That killed the atmosphere for us. We won't be back.

I have been a regular at The Black Iron Grill, enjoying the variety of dishes for both breakfast and lunch. The service has always been friendly and professional, and the menu offers a nice selection from classic bar food to healthier options. The attached espresso stop is a tiny but charming spot with humorous cartoons on the walls and a selection of interesting coffee blends, including the delicious Bad B-tch Brew espresso blend and a tasty London Fog.

Amazing food and fantastic service. My friend and I always grab quick cocktails in their unique little bar!
Must see if you're in vernonia.

The espresso here is already terribly burnt tasting. I really want to like this place, as for most of the year it is the only place in town to get hot coffee, but it's just awful.
