I had asked for a room on a high floor with a view for a week in June/July to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, but they gave me a room over the pool with a wall blocking the view. One night, I heard a disturbance in the hallway and there was no security on site; the next morning, there was police activity and the elevator was closed off, but they wouldn't disclose details to respect guest privacy. I decided to leave a day early as I didn't want to stay in an unsafe situation, especially with the added threat of Covid.
