Walking into this classic neighborhood eatery felt like stepping back in time, with its homey vibe and friendly, attentive staff setting the scene for a memorable meal. The seafood platter was a feast of gigantic scallops, fried clams, and stuffed shrimp, perfectly complemented by a throwback salad bar that hit all the right nostalgic notes. Despite the dated dí©cor and a twice-baked potato fail, every bite-from the crispy rockfish to the cream of crab soup loaded with lumps-proved that sometimes the best flavors hide in the most unassuming places.

My husband and I had dinner on Friday evening 8/26 and ordered the lump meat crab dinner and the seafood platter. We were really hoping that b/c we had to wait so long for the meal that the food would be great. We were so disappointed that the fish had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. It must have been a bad night for the cook!!! We drove all the way from Ft. Washington, MD.

First time here tonight, ordered crab cakes and calamari and steak. Crab cakes were awesome and calamari are chewy, steak were kind of dry. Other than that, it was great.

The jumbo lump crab cakes are amazing! There is huge chunks of sweet crab meat with just enough filler to keep it all together.
