The food and service were solid, but I was a bit bummed that they don't offer egg whites. I've been enjoying meals here for 15 years, and I've never had a bad experience; it's always cozy and homey. If you're in the mood for classic diner vibes and hearty comfort food, this is definitely the spot to hit up!

They have it on the menu or they can make it.

While visiting relatives, we had breakfast at the Frying Pan. Best chicken fried steak ever but if you don't like or are limiting salt, nix the sausage gravy. I thought the gravy was great but i don't mind salty. Fried potatoes were excellent and my English muffin was toasted crispy just right which, in my experience, is rare. My wife had excellent bacon but the grits were bland.Next time I'm going for the eggs and pork chops.

I was so disappointed. My husband brought the chicken fried steak breakfast home for a treat since I absolutely LOVE chicken fried steak. The steak was really good but the gravey was way too salty. Had to take the gravey off to even eat it. ..what a waste. The fried potatoes were anything but fried..they were a mushy hot mess. Couldn't eat those at all. I've had them before where they were fried crispy & they were delish. I love hubby for trying to do something special but The Frying Pan ain't what it use to be.

The food we tasted seemed delicious. However, we could not get over the "urine/sewage" smell that covered the entire restaurant (we moved a couple of times) which honestly made it hard to eat or taste. Cook has talent for sure, eggs were perfectly cooked, and potatoes with onions tasted great until you took a breath. Would recommend carry out.

Had chipped beef over toast and it was good and plentiful. However th fried potatoes were gross. Not.sure what the were cooked with but they were mushy and greasy and looled unpleasant. Staff were pleasant but I believe I was overcharged for a soda and coffee.
