My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch today at Cables. It was our first time visiting here, and the food was fresh and the broasted chicken special was just amazing. The service could not have been better. We were both pleasantly surprised. Only wish we had room for the Chocolate Cake! Maybe next time.

Liver with onion - the liver's size is for kids but is not on the kids menu! Forget this dish. The soup was good but the service very poor.

I was in with my husband for breakfast on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago expecting good food and great service and all we got was bad service and barely warm food.We got seated right away but were forgotten by the waitress(Heidi)which walked by about 10 times and didn't bother to say good morning or hi how are you.The busboy was nice enough to offer us drinks,and 25 minutes later the waitress(Heidi)finally comes around to take our order and still no greeting,she brings the food and walks away doesn't bother to check back on us,and again we get rescue by the busboy with refills and clearing plates of the table.at the end of breakfast we were torn whether to tip the waitress(Heidi)or the busboy the deserved it more.We are very disappointed with the service and that's why we gave only 1 star,and won't be coming back.

Cable's has been our favorite neighborhood casual dining spot for the 30+ years we have lived in Woodland Hills. The food is wholesome, delicious and satisfying. The service has almost always been pleasant and prompt. The menu has evolved over the years with creative new sandwiches, entrees and desserts.

Their Good Earth is the best tuna sandwich we've ever had in a restaurant. We usually go to Cable's for late dinners or snacks, but have sampled the menu broadly. The omelettes and French toast are excellent.

The 0-10 ratings are for Cable's as a casual diner. I have no business or relationship connection to owners or employees of Cables.
