Walking into this dive, I was skeptical, especially since it calls itself a diner, but I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken salad, which turned out to be some of the best I've ever tasted. Loaded with mayo and accompanied by fresh bread, pickles, and banana peppers for a tangy kick, it was a delicious find in a neighborhood that I only visited due to a trip to the Pepco customer service office.

This little joint may call itself a diner, but it's more like a dive that's trying its best. Despite its questionable appearance, they do serve up some killer chicken salad sandwiches. The mayo may be a bit overwhelming, but the flavor is on point and the bread is fresh. So, if you ever find yourself stuck in this neck of the woods, give their chicken salad a chance - just try not to judge a book by its cover!
