Lady working the order window was taking orders from new customers and not taking payment from customers that had already placed orders. There was a significant wait and backup as customers waiting to pay were creating a bottleneck and holding up the line. When I suggested that the lady get an experienced person to work the window, she said she knew what she was doing because she has been doing it for 12 years. I have lived in Mount Airy for 27 years and typically will travel to Lisbon or New Market rather than deal with the staff at the Mount Airy location. Today was another reason that supports my decisions to travel the extra distance to save the aggravation of dealing with the poorly trained staff in Mount Airy. Send them over to Chic fil a for a week of training - that couldn't hurt.

I ordered food thru drive thru and my experience was less than comical. At approximately 330am I ordered 2 kids happy meals, 6 PC nuggets with chocolate milk, a large #3 with sweet tea, a 20pc nugget, and a large dr pepper. They only accepted cash, provided no receipt (which is not practiced by McDonalds), provided no napkins, and no sauce for the nuggets. To top it off, once I got home I realized they gave my kids spicy nuggets. I called at 427am, the female who answered the phone admitted to being the manager but declined to provide her name upon request wice and hung up. She, the manager, doesn't deserve any supervisory position, due to her lack of compassion and properly supervising personnel under her. FIRE THE ENTIRE SHIFT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
UNFRIENDLY TO CHILDREN, AND THE BURGER WAS BURNT!!!
