Good food, but came with an unwelcome side of politics.

Great atmosphere and even better food, steamed shrimp and onions are the best and the burgers are made from fresh ground beef. The only problem with the Port Side is getting service, they always seem understaffed and you will wait a long time for your food, or a beer if they are busy, more than 10 patrons. The Port Side is a neighborhood bar that serves excellent food, but they don’t seem to understand the need for better customer service for the patrons that come there to dine. Good food is better if you can actually get it.

great food, resonably priced and a local atmosphere. good place to eat for cheap!!!

Great place! I have had dinner with friends here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Really great food and great portions with prics that are really reasonable, if not lower than most places.
