Good Food

Been staying at the Sahara Motel for 30 plus years. Both the motel and the cafe have recently changed owners. Both, not for the better. The prices in the cafe have increased quite dramatically. My breakfast this morning was just fair. Toast was cold. Smaller portions then in the past. Scrapple was over cooked. I also noticed the carpet is dirty and greasy. In the past ALL staff wore Sahara Cafe t-shirts. Evidently, the dress code has been done away with. Now it's very hard to distinguish the staff from the patrons. The one plus I approve of was the fact that they now take credit cards as payment and do not charge a surcharge for using them. Still a decent breakfast, but not the treasure of past years.
