I chowed down on a massive cheesesteak loaded with fried onions that was so delicious it could've made a food critic weep. The staff were as friendly as old friends, and even though I've been enjoying their food since childhood, every visit feels like a tasty adventure worth the drive!

I love all their food but pancakes and chicken salad are two of my favorites that have to be great or I just won't go back!!! They are 5Star on both these dishes in my book and their subs are outstanding 👍

Omg. This place needs to build another store - or 10!
We live 90 minutes south and getting there isn't a common thing, but whenever we pass through galena WE STOP HERE. Their subs are MASSIVE- honestly I don't know how they make money considering how much meat they put on them.
I forget how we found out, but it's AMAZING. It looks like a typical mom-and-pop restaurant but the subs are to die for. We routinely get 3-4 meals out of each large. A single large feeds me, the wife, and our teenager, and we ain't exactly skinny.

Highly recommend. TELL THEM NEVER TO CHANGE A THING!

I live in Saint Petersburg Florida now and think of Twinny's every Sunday Morning for the Family Atmosphere and excellent Breakfast
Besides missing the Season of Fall I also miss all the Fun times at Twinny's

The Italiian sub here was delicious I bought a small and it was so much it was enough for 2 meals.

The crabcakes there are the gold standard by which I judge crabcakes - & no other place has crabcakes this meaty & delicious! We've been going there for about 15 years & have enjoyed their breakfasts & crabcakes every time. It's a quirky little place - don't expect a lot of room or fancy digs, but they have good food, nice servers, & very reasonable prices.
