Gilbert's is a wonderful restaurant serving real Mexican border food made by the Roderiquez family, huge supporters of the community.My famiy, friends & I have been eating there for over 25 years & have never had a bad meal. They are known for their breakfast specials & their Menudo & you cannot go wrong with any one of their combo plates. It is a child friendly restaurant, serving killer Margarita's on the rocks. Go early because they do not take reservations & bring cash because they do not take credit cards.

nice restaurant and design but the food was horrible. i ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was simply boiled and shredded and thrown into a tortilla with rice, beans, etc. absolutely no flavor in the food. not to mention the boiled chicken was extremely chewy.
