Went to the restaurant for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was closed although their phone recording said they'd be open at 12 noon. I advise anyone else to call before they visit this restaurant!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I live near LAX and I drive all the way to the valley to eat here. It's great, not expensive and really good food. Relaxed atmosphere, you can show up wearing sweats if you want! Peach cobbler is amazing and they have their own special homemade hush puppies with jalapenos...yummm. Highly recommended

Awesome spot -- great authentic food at fabulous prices. It's like eating in someone's kitchen... er, in fact you ARE eating in the kitchen, and that's part of the fun. There is absolutely no pretense to this place. Just good food.

Wow do I love this place. Atmosphere not so cozy but the food makes up for it. Best darn fried chicken around. Sides are prepared without the traditional fatty salty stuff but still taste great. Yummy gravy too. They also make super tasty desserts.
