I've never dined in, so I can't speak to the quality of service, but I've ordered take away and I've had food delivered more times than I can count. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered (tofu vegetable soup, tofu in black bean sauce, vegetable lo mein, and many other vegetable dishes) and have yet to receive any food that was sub-par or not to my specifications. The prices are quite good for the portions, and the vegetarian selections are much better (and offer more variety) than other Chinese restaurants I've visited.

The only negative remark I can make is that delivery occasionally takes much longer than it should, and they don't call to let you know if the food is going to take longer than 45 minutes to get to you.

First, just go to the Panda Express further south on Pasadena. You might not be looking for fast-food Chinese food, but this is just the quality of food you get at this place. The servers are also incredibly rude, and it is more expensive.

My experiences:

Been there three times, will never go back there again after a finding the cook's hair in my food the third time.

First time, ordered smoked duck, got fried. Duck was obviously just defrosted. Almost inclined to think they did this on purpose because it would impossible for them to keep smoked duck frozen. This, reinforced by my second experience when I asked for smoked duck again, and they said they didn't have it.

Second time, ordered to take away. Took it home, the order was completely wrong. Ordered seafood, got chicken! Had to drive back, and they were VERY rude to me.

Third time, was very hungry so figured one last shot, ordered a very common tofu dish, they can't possibly screw this up. This was MaPoToFu, which I've had at a million other restaurants. First, their rendition wasn't even very good. They clearly did not even use the Chinese pepper paste but tasted like they used Tobasco sauce. Second, hair in the tofu!!

Alright, I will never be lazy again. I will always walk to Panda Express now.
