We have tried this restaurant twice -- once when it first opened and again recently. Both times we were greatly disappointed. The naan was served cold and when we asked for fresh, warm naan, they took ours away and reheated the broken pieces. The dal was barely done and unlike any we have ever tasted.
Those who may not be familiar with truly excellent Indian food may fall for this "fake Indian cuisine" but it cannot compare. For excellent local Indian, walk a block further north and try Mezbaan. Its the best in Pasadena.

Good food. Great service. The Chicken Curry (which is not actually on the menu) was really good as well as the Chicken Tikka Masala. Order the appetizer the Chicken Kati Roll-it's like a chicken burrito and it is delicious!

We've gone back again and again for the Akbari Kofta, it's delicious. We also love the aloo am tikka, a potato appetizer. The food is a little pricey for what it is, and I hate how you have to pay for each piece of naan. (Where I come from, naan comes free with the meal). Ambience is cozy, it's a good place for an intimate meal.
