On my way there right now! I've been eating @ La Paz since 1981. They have the best: rice...chile relleno...chile verde...carnitas...ranchero burrito of any Mexican restaurant in the Westside!
Nicest Family too!

Well to the "white girl's" comment down below... You wouldn't know good Mexican food if it smacked you upside the head. The rice is amazing and soft. My personal favorite is the #3 all rice no beans (2 enchladas, 1 taco, side or rice= $7) great price for alot of food. The enchalada sauce it self is the most amazing thing in the world.

I have been eating at La Paz for about 21 years now....my whole life to be exact! No mexican restaurant compares to La Paz. The chicken wrap is my ultimate favorite, especially when its smothered with their incredible salsa. Best restaurant in El Segundo!

THE BEST

The food is always good, especially the guacamole. We love coming here because you can get 2 plates, sodas, and the complimentary chips and salsa and pay $20 including tip!

We have been customers of La Paz since I can remember. My mother took us there when we were little. Now that we relocated to Oregon we still visit La Paz and bring our children, everytime we visit Southern California. It is hard finding good Mexican food. We especially like the ground beef tacos, and the Jr Burritos, and not to mention the homemade chips and salsa!

Family owned for years. Used to be on Main Street and moved to Center Street a couple of years ago. Service is fantastic, food good and consistent. A definite choice for all Mexican lovers.

We have eaten here for the last 6 years and it's the best mexican rest in town. The food is always good and the service is alway good because the its family owned and they obviously care about their business. I recommend it. Very casual atmosphere

The food is awsome!! we go there at least once a week. The place can be a little more pleasing to the eye but the food is worth it!! The service could be better but like i said the food it worth it!!

The food is typical Mexican - nothing too special - the prices are very high considering the low quality of ingredients.

I went to this place based on the great reviews it had on this site, but the food was very disappointing. Everything was very bland. I'm a white girl and I can cook better Mexican food than that. The place is cute and the people who own it were very nice, but I suggest you pass this one up.

I moved from Redondo beach 15 years ago and recently had the opportunity to come back for a weekend. Luckily I found the new location for La Paz and was so excited to have the world famous Carnitas and the best salsa ever. I have told so many people about this place and was thrilled to have my beloved with me to share in this delightful experience. In his words "damn, you're right, this was worth coming all the way from Texas to have lunch". Thank you so much La Paz!! See you again soon.
