The breakfast at Cliff's Cafe was absolutely delicious, with the country eggs Benedict and Denver sandwich both receiving high praise from my wife and me. While the coffee and juices were just average, the overall experience was enjoyable and the pancakes were as great as I remembered from my childhood. Cliff's Cafe has been a favorite breakfast spot of mine for years, offering delicious food for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with fast service and fantastic burgers. The Portuguese sweet bread French toast was a standout dish, and I look forward to returning to try more of their menu options.

Terrible experience for me today. I arrived at 11:00 to a near to empty dining room. The waitress l presume, greeted me with a "Areyou alone"? In a loud voice Then she preceding to sit me in a single in the corner. When 90 percent of the tables were empty and it was between breakfast and lunch. I asked if l could sit near the window and she looked mad and said "No, we were busy today". Lousy hospitality. Maybe she doesn't like senior citizens but boy l have never been treated so rudely as l have today in Cliff's Diner.

I have ate at Cliffs a number of times, but have not been there for about 6 months.. quite the surprise when I got the menu and noticed the items that used to come with my omelet were now all considered sides. As the person noted in an earlier post "what restaurant doesn't include home fries & coffee with the breakfast." I was in for even a bigger surprise when I got the bill, almost $29 for 2 western omelets,home fries, a cinnamon roll, and coffee. You actually charged me for a refill on coffee. Sorry, I will not return to this place. I hate being nickel'd and dime'd.
