I have a fond memory of visiting a special candy store called Hebert's with my grandparents in New York and New Hampshire in the '60s and '70s. We always found Hebert's candies in a closet at their houses, and I remember catching my grandma sneaking some once. Recently, I revisited a similar store called Colonial Candies and was disappointed not to find my favorite pastel buttery mint disks.
