Jamaican cuisine here consistently delivers flavorful dishes like oxtails, curry goat, and jerk chicken with rice and peas, accompanied by sides such as stewed cabbage or plantains. While the line can be slow and some items like macaroni and cheese may sell out early, the food remains hot, delicious, and worth returning for, with friendly service behind the scenes helping to resolve occasional issues.

One of the best spots I've discovered is a Jamaican restaurant serving up flavorful dishes like oxtails and rice and beans. I opted for cabbage instead of plantains this time, and it still hit the spot with its authentic taste and friendly service.

Flames in Dorchester/Mattapan sells bad food. I bought a fish and chicken dinner and the food taste like it was 2 days old.
If they don't sell the food the day it is made donate it, don't sell it and try to pass it off as fresh.
It's ridiculous!
