The menu at Golden Crown Chinese Food offers a variety of delicious soups, appetizers, and entrees available in both small and large portions. I particularly enjoyed the Singapore Noodles, as each dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients, complemented by attentive and friendly service.

I was hung up on last year when I was told I could get a new order of fried rice next time because for the first time in 12 years, the shrimp fried rice was dry. They have developed an attitude problem, but with a regular bi-weekly customer???? If the owner reads this, YOUR NOT THE ONLY CHINESE RESTAURANT AROUND!!!!!!

For people who have food allergies, you should be able to call a restaurant and ask what type of oil they use, and the restaurant should be able to tell you. Not this restaurant they hung up on my daughter after she asked what type of oil they use, instead they said I'm not a Doctor, and hung up on her. I guess you need to be a doctor to decipher their ingredients. Should not sell food unless you know what ingredients you use! Massachusetts law requires restaurants to post sign's stating "if you have allergies inform your server". I guess the law does not require the restaurant to actually know what they use.

Apparently since they went under new management a while back the food has gone down hill.
Still we decided to order some lo mien and egg rolls for the kids dinner. I get home and the order is wrong. The "owner" argues with me and tells me I ordered what was in the bag. I said I am bringing it back, can I have the right order. He was hostile about this. My kids were afraid now to get any food from there, so I called right back and said cancel the order I am bringing it back and you can give me my money back. The "OWNER" slams the phone down on me.
When I got there, I asked him if that was how he did business. I said, I had about 18 people at my house that could not believe he hung up on me, I asked him for an apology. I did not get one.
He gave my money back, very reluctantly. I would never order anything there again. We have been going there when it was under the other management for over 20 years without any problems.
