After waiting over an hour and a half on a busy Saturday evening with limited staff, I finally got a table and was impressed by the fresh sushi and delicious sashimi, especially the Omakase recommendation which was outstanding. Despite the staff being overwhelmed, they remained friendly and hardworking, though it was clear the owner could use more help to improve the experience. The cozy atmosphere, great variety of dishes like tempura, pad Thai, and yakitori chicken, and consistently fresh fish keep me coming back whenever I'm in the area.

First time ordering delivery via Doordash, I had a fantastic experience at Hayashi and wish I had known about it sooner; the sushi and sashimi were delicious, the atmosphere cozy, and the service, while overwhelmed, was friendly and hardworking.
