For years, I've heard stories from my good friend Uncle Steve in Wilbraham, and the homemade kielbasa I finally tasted lived up to his passionate descriptions. Its rich, smoky flavor brought back memories of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir, perfectly complemented by a dab of homegrown horseradish, evoking the spirit of the 70s and the charm of Uncle Steve's beloved '72 Dodge Charger.
