I used to frequent the original establishment when it first opened on Main adjacent to the rotary and found it to be quite charming. The cozy ambiance, with only a few tables, made for a pleasant dining experience. The affordability of a full meal, complete with antipasto salad, chicken soup, gnocchi and meatballs, and spumoni with claret sauce for under $10.00, was remarkable. Both Mario and Rita's personal touch added to the overall sense of appreciation during our visits.

A lovely dining experience. A quaint simple little restaurant with eclectic Italian decor. Music selections such as Frank Sinatra are playing softly in the background. The menu is not extravagant but it has all the dishes you would expect to find in an Italian restaurant. And they are good! The staff is friendly and some have been there for years. You can expect to see Mario tending bar each evening. It's a favorite for us.
