Great food and service!!

I recently visited this cozy townie diner and was charmed by the quirky decor, including a suit of arms and a cat statue at the entrance. The service was friendly, but the kitchen seemed a bit slow - although they are hiring, so hopefully it will improve. Despite the wait, the food was delicious, especially the Romanian pastrami in Steve's special Benedict. The atmosphere at Maxie's Deli is warm and welcoming, with traditional Jewish dishes made from scratch and served by a friendly staff. I highly recommend stopping by for a home-cooked meal that will make you feel like part of the family.
