While wandering around my hometown with some time to spare, my stomach began to growl, craving a warm bowl of soup on this chilly day. Opting for a different choice than my usual Sicilian Zazza, I savored every spoonful of the homemade escarole soup accompanied by pizza dough breadsticks and a refreshing Mexican Coke at Morena's. The cozy ambiance, delicious food, and friendly service made me feel right at home, proving that sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to a delightful surprise.
