I discovered a fantastic restaurant in Winthrop that exceeded all my expectations, especially being open on New Year's Day. The grilled chicken kabob bomb and Italian dishes were incredibly delicious, and my boyfriend, a picky eater, declared it one of the best Italian meals he's ever had. The service was prompt and friendly, with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere that makes me look forward to returning again and again.

Over the last several weeks, I have ordered a scallop plate, went home and found out I only had onion rings (no scallops). They did deliver me scallops a half hour later. Another time I ordered a pepper, egg & onion sub, got home and found that I had a pepper steak, with cheese and onion. Had to take that back and wasted another half hour. The final straw was this afternoon when I ordered a medium size calzone with steak, cheese, onion and pepper. When I picked it up the employee had a pepper steak with cheese and onions. They young lady told me they would make me the calzone. I told her thanks, but forget it. I'm tired of wasting my time just trying to get the right order.
I am a customer that orders 4-5 times a week and has spent thousands over the years. The majority of times I'm very pleased with their food. I feel that they do so much business that they rush through the orders. I have no plans on ever returning to Nicks as I called Crest Pizza and they got the order right and It was cheaper and just as good.
