I've been enjoying sandwiches from On Rye Deli for almost 20 years, mostly the Tuna Melt on butter-toasted Rye which is truly the best warm sandwich around. Today, I tried something different, a cold Roast Beef with Swiss Cheese on a Scala roll, and it was maybe the best Roast Beef I can recall eating - the meat was red rare, but not bloody, and they were generous with the Roast Beef. My friend ordered the Chicken Salad on a Scala Roll and finished it before I did, which is rare for him as he usually eats slowly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to On Rye Deli for more of their great food and friendly service.
