Sal's Pizzeria Facebook page says they are closed for vacation as of 11/23/13 yet a sign on the door says 'temporarily closed' even though there were bags of sandwich rolls on the counter and lights were on.

The people at Sal's sadly never get my order right. Last time i ordered a Greek Special with white sauce and extra feta. The pizza came with mozzarella instead of feta and NO WHITE SAUCE!

I ordered a Meat Lover's pizza recently and the hamburg was so tough I could barely chew it. I am very disappointed with Sal's.

I have had some great food here but the last few times I went it is was disgustin. there was dirt everywhere and looked like the floors hadn't been swept in 2 or 3 days. not sure i will be going back.

I would not recommend that anyone go in here anymore due to the unsanitary conditions. Years ago Sal's was THE place to go, great food (still is), but back in the day it was sparkling clean. Times have changed. I went in about 3 months ago to pick up a pizza and the owner was plunging the toilet in back (I could hear the squelching from the front of the store). He came out of the bathroom, plunger in hand, shirt soaked with water and stained, and took my money and handed me the pizza without washing his hands, no gloves either. As I was leaving he went over and began to make another pizza. The food is good but not worth getting sick over. I will go to Alexander's next time.
