We ordered steamers to start off. They looked old and were dark in color. Butter was just melted, not drawn. I ordered a baked haddock dinner and returned it. It had a foul fish smell to it and didn’t appear to be cooked thoroughly. We will not return.

Possibly the worst dining experience EVER!!! Salad from a bag was old and disgusting!! Not at all as advertised. The greenish garnish on the paper plate for the broiled scallops was so old it was turning yellow and brown! Scallops were tasteless with a dab of mushy crumb topping. The twin lobsters were full of water that poured out onto the styro-foam plate. Baked potato was hard. The lobster meat was green. My 4 year old grandson said he has eaten lobster but it wasn't green. We all had to take Tums!!! Waitress offered to bring us something else, but we had seen enough. will never go back!!!

Salty's food was terrible. We had a party of 7 and 5 of the 7 people did not like their food. The New England Clam Chowder was cold, watery, bland and lacked taste. The fish and chips were tender yet tasteless. My sister is not a seafood person so she tried the spaghetti. The noodles were slimy, mushy and oily, we felt like the pasta was reheated although the meatballs were good. The fritters on the Clam Fritter Plate were tolerable as long as you didn't hit a strip of clam. The clams were the consistency of an eraser, hard and disgusting. Two of the clam fritters did not contain any clams and these were the best ones. I approached the manager about the poor quality of food and she said that they could not do anything about it which is not correct. We spent more than $110 for food that left a lot to be desired.
Parties of more than 5 have to pay 18% gratuity.
