On my way home to Pennsylvania, I stopped at Schermerhorn's and was really glad I did. The seafood platter I ordered was cooked perfectly, with cole slaw that complemented the fish just right, and the friendly service made the experience even better. Despite the slightly dated decor, the delicious food, generous portions, and warm atmosphere made me eager to return next time I'm in the area.

Stopped in on my way home and was pleasantly surprised by the nice rustic seafood spot with great specials and friendly service. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the ocean-themed atmosphere was charming. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
