Used to eat there frequently when we lived closer a few years ago. Went back 2 nights ago, a Saturday. Immediately we noticed a huge difference. One employee seated us and then sat down and played on her phone until we waved at her. The salad bar was pathetic: wilted lettuce, and only 3 prepared salads. Didn't try them. The buffet did not look appetizing. I just got mashed potatoes, put a bit of brown gravy on it, fried cauliflower, frozen with crust flaking off, canned green beans, meat and gravy (couldn't find any meat), fried fish ( no idea what kind and it was cold and greasy, fried chicken that was cold and undercooked. Oh, and the mashed potatoes were runny and tasteless. I didn't see bread of any kind so I walked over to the lady on her phone and asked and she said there were biscuits in the back so I asked if we could have some.Took her a minute, they had to be re-heated. My husband cut the cold chicken and it was too pink. Everything on my plate was very cold. My husband got some rice....it looked a bit off so he stirred only to find it was hard and stuck to the bottom of the pan. I ate 3 bites, my husband 2 but the cold and undercooked chicken was what made him say, "This is all terrible and possibly dangerous!" So we paid our bill and left. The lady asked what was wrong and then offered to reheat things. Sorry. Paid and left and somewhere else. Only and a booth with 2 people were the only other ones there. We went up the road and had dinner. It was sad and disappointing. Oh! And they no longer offer the menu they had for those who don't want buffet. Ignore the photos as these are many days past. And be sure to check the Cobb County restaurant safety scores. A sad end to a lovely neighborhood gem.

Daddy's has new owners and BOY has the quality of the food changed! The chicken used to be the best anywhere. Now it's dried out and the breading is awful. Seafood night was not worth it. It was gross. Do not bother to eat there. I am sooooo disappointed. :(

This is the best place in Acworth to eat good southern food. When we are camping near by we always look forward to eating there. The chicken is my favorite. Wish they would add home made banana pudding to the buffet along with that delicious cobbler.
