The last time I was down there in Sharpsburg Catfish Hollow was closed. Does anyone know if this restaurant is still closed or did it move to somewhere else. It is the best catfish that I have eaten. I drive from Douglasville to eat the fish. Please let me know. Thanks.

this is just in response to a comment made by 'jim' on 08/16/2009.. his comment was about how terrible the food was.. but then in his very next statement he said his wife was 'too full to enjoy the desert there' so she wanted to take it home.. how is it that the food was so bad that your wife is too full and the food is so bad that you want to take it home to eat it later? make any sense to anyone else? lol

My wife and I had not been to Catfish Hollow in years due to the over priced greasy seafood. We thought since it was now a seafood buffet and many people had told us it was better, we would try it again.
To my surprise it was worse than before. The flavor of everything was the same and it was as greasy as before. The crab cakes ( crab crumbs) were the worst.
The unbelievable part was if you get the buffet, you get desert with it. My wife was too full to enjoy it there so asked if she could take it with her and was told no. When I got my cheese cake brownie, it was good but it was 1" by 1". Hardly worth the trouble.
Good try to change your format of the old Cat fish hollow to get people back with the all you can it eat buffet. Never again in my lifetime will I be back!!
