M.L.'s reopened at a new Hwy 34 location, and the experience was just as enjoyable as before with excellent food and attentive service. The dining area is spacious with a lively atmosphere, and reservations are definitely a good idea since it fills up quickly. Despite a few minor delays during a busy evening, the staff handled everything professionally, making me eager to return soon.

I live smack in the middle of Manhattan and Philadelphia and have the ability to find great Italian food many places. But let me just tell you that Mama Lucia's is AMAZING. I am working on a retail project in the Newnan area and while staying at the hotel I asked if there was a good Mom and Pop place that was reasonably priced but mainly I was looking for GREAT food. Three people in the hotel told me go to Mama Lucia's. Well after getting lost for an hour and having to stop 2 times and ask for directions I found it. I walked in and immediately was greeted by a stunning smile from Barbara (whom I later found out was one of the owners). After seating me she made a point to visit my table, making suggestions on items as well as casual conversation. I have been back three times in the last several weeks, trying something different every time with ABSOLUTELY no disappointments. Barbara has been welcoming every time I have been there. It may not seem like much but I will be flying down to Atlanta and driving to Newnan just to eat here. I love the food, friendly atmosphere and the casual conversations with Barbara and the staff.
