If you're looking for a dining spot with a wine list, a maitre'd and a three piece concerto...pass this by. If you're looking for a down-home, friendly, easy going place, where the food and atmosphere is fantastic...this is your place. Being strangers who just moved to the area, we accepted an invitation to eat here with a little trepidation. I have to say that I can't remember ever being accepted as "one of the guys" as easily as this. The food was superb and the staff and owners are the best ever! I am picky about my seafood but the flounder and shrimp were the best I've ever had when eating at a restaurant which is not on the coast. Honestly, it was better than most coastal restaurants I've eaten at. This is a can't miss if you are in the area. Just wish they were open all year long, but the winter wait will make the spring opening that much better. Thanks Glenna and Tim for the "introduction" to the real Elberton.

Food is great, good variety of items. The only bad thing is that it is seasonal, only open March - October. I had the fried Shrimp and my husband had the Rib-eye steak, both were great, the salad was fresh and and the fried green tomatoes were to dye for.. Will be back
