This restaurant is not fancy on décor but has the best southern cooking I have enjoyed anywhere. If it is southern, it is on the menu. Food and service are terrific. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. I take all my out-of-town visitors there for a flash of the past since there are so few of these wonderful restaurants left. Oh, by the way, I am not a new customer, I have been eating there 6+ years.

I ate here some time ago, and am going back soon. If you love home style Southern cooking in a true small town Southern atmosphere, this is it! If you like honest to goodness fried okra(not the frozen breaded kind)cooked in small batches, don't miss it. These folks didn't leave much off the menue that you'd think of as being a Southern standard.

Awesome, freindly service, quality southern food, very reasonably priced menu. Catfish is very good. Nice quiet hometown restaurant.

I'm confused about where the other reviewers must eat ordinarily..... I don't think there is anything on this menu over 10 bucks, maybe there is but nothing I've ever ordered. I can never finish all I get with whatever I order and the corn muffins( amazing )and rolls are endless if you can find room for them. We really enjoy this place and apparently so do lots of other folk because I see lots of repeaters when we go in.
