I discovered "Jacks by the River" through a friend's recommendation, and my wife and I have made it a Friday night tradition. Arriving right at 5:00 when they open ensures a smooth dining experience with minimal crowds and available parking. The seafood platter was generous and delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly even with a large group.
