Hope it's changed since 2019. Had dinner there and it was terrible. I had crab bites and they were the frozen pre breaded kind like you by at sam's.Should have left when we got there and we were the only customers in the place but, the waitress really begged us to stay!! Way over priced!!! Nothing lke it use to be!!

Never again!! Had lunch there on Sunday afternoon. The food was lousy, the service slow (hardly any dinner's in restaurant), and the prices's way too high for the amount and quality of food. Had mixed veggie's, couldn't eat them, supposed to have had grilled shrimp, they were boiled. Also found a long black hair in food. I am gray haired, my date blonde. My meal was almost $25.00, my date $20.00. She had fried catfish, one fillet, cole slaw, french fries and one hush-puppy. We both drank water. This used to be a great place to eat.

I love their seafood, it is fresh, lightly breaded and their platters are so big I always have enough for another meal at home. Great seafood, not sure about their steaks, they are known for the seafood.

i have been to the buccaneer club once since it burned. It was not the same of course with the new building and the food was not near as good as i remember it in the 70 and 80s. they used to have one of the best steaks anywhere. and the seafood was always great. but times change. BUT i would go to the buccaneer club before i would go to the pelican point . now that is some bad food if i have ever had any. i may give the buccaneer club one more chance.

I ordered a 16oz steak that was 14oz fat ($20.50). I would of been embarrassed as a restaurant to serve this. The waitress response was oh well nothing she could do when she bothered to come to the table. I eat out a lot and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they want to trhow their money away on crap. I am surprised they stay in business.
