The inviting ambiance combined with delicious, well-priced food make Taco Tuesday at this restaurant a delightful experience. The attentive service, entertaining trivia, and recent remodeling create a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere that I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Best Mexican restaurant in our area of Quitman and Thomasville, GA! Good service, good food!

Went for dinner on Saturday night around 6:45. We had a large party so we figured a decent wait. After and hour we decided to split up into two separate tables and were seated. It took 25 minutes to get a waiter to take our order and only after having to get up and ask for someone to take our order. I also had to to this for our other table as they were sitting for almost 30 minutes with no one taking their order Food took about 20-25 minutes to get back, which was not bad. Food was mediocre at best. Overall, took 2.5 hours to eat.

The BEST ever! I am stuck in a rutt. I always get the chimichanga dinner. Always great! Cannot beat the prices and great service!

I love, love this restaurant. I go every week even though it is a 20 minute drive. The taco salad is so good. As others have mentioned the owner and his wife are right there serving and greeting people. Whatever I am drinking always stays filled and I leave happy and looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely Wonderful. The menu is much more extensive than most Mexican restaurants with several specialty dishes. Most importantly, the food is
ALWAYS fresh and well cooked. Especially the rice and beans which most places over or under cook. Staff is VERY respectful and cordial. As for previous commenter writing "The food was OK, not really authentic Mexican."; the obviously bumped their head. As we all know, THERE'S ONE IN EVERY CROWD!!! Also note, there complaint was not getting UNLIMITED FREE refills for TEN people.

We regularly drive by serveral Mexican restaraunts and travel over 25 miles to eat here based on their SUPERIOR QUALITY and ATMOSPHERE. Owner is also hands on and very amiable.

We would and have recommend this place to anyone wanting a TRUE qualilty Mexican meal in a nice atmosphere. It is a wonderful additon to a small town and would easily flourish anywhere from Miami to Manhatten.

Kudos to Coyoacan. Too bad all owner operators can't get it as right as you!!!!

This has become our favorite Mexican restaurant even though we live in Thomasville.I love their sour cream chicken. It's a great place to go with a group of friends especially if Courtney is your waitress. She cracks us up every time we go!! I do agree check out is long if you pay by debit card--it stops every time the phone rings.

Lots of atmosphere, and great food. Only downfall is checking out takes to long. Will return again. Mariachi band was wonderful!

The food was ok, not really authentic Mexican, but what can you expect in this area....

The thing that merits such a low rating is this:
I went there with a group of ten people. Like every other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, the Coyoacan waiters brought us chips and salsa. So what did we do? We ate them. We enjoyed them. We asked for more. We received our food after about a thirty minute wait. And everyone pretty much enjoyed their meals.

When we paid, we were told that the first serving of chips and salsa were free. The manager argued with us, demanding that we pay 3.00 for each additional serving of chips and salsa our table had. When we protested, she defended this, making several arguments.

She argued that her family has been in the restaurant business a long time and that all Mexican restaurants charge for chips and salsa refills.

She said other restaurants refill the chips bowls with recycled chips from previous customers, and her restaurant doesn't, so they charge extra.

She said the restaurant is sometimes too busy and forgets to charge tables extra for the chips.

She said other restaurants which her family owns in the area also charge, but never in the experience of any of the 10 people in our party.

She argued that it wasn't necessary to tell customers they would be charged for servings of chips and salsa beyond the first serving.

---

Now, this is a small thing, of course. But it's the way it was handled. She maintained SOME decorum in dealing with our grumpy party, but she made MANY MANY (illegitimate) excuses as our party complained to her.

As someone who has worked at a handful of restaurants and dined at more Mexican restaurants than I can count, I can say this was some of the most shocking treatment I've had from a "professional".

Best Mexican food I have ever had! Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere and staff are excellent. Every dish we have tasted is wonderful. When we are in the area we have to go eat at Coyoacan.
