I visited Rodgers BBQ yesterday with a group of five, enjoying a delicious meal of fried catfish with all the fixings. The attentive waitress made the experience truly memorable, despite the slower service. The pork plate, however, fell short of expectations, with wet meat and inconsistent textures. Overall, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it a pleasant dining experience.

I'm only commenting on the BBQ sandwiches. Not the other food as i've not had any. Basically i was very disappointed. I don't even think the BBQ sandwiches were even BBQ. just some meat with sauce poured over it. I won't be going back. The people were nice just wish the food was the same.

My family is a big fan of the great catfish. When our son was in Iraqi he said he thought about all those Friday nites we went and ate at Rogers, in La Grange, Hogansville and West Point. Guess where we went when he came home safe to us? We love the stew and always get a gallon each Christmas, a family tradition. Go and Enjoy!

Typical southern family restaurant - not fancy, but very homey, with very friendly service. Pork ribs could not even be lifted from the plate without the meat falling completely off of them, and the meat was very tender and tasty. Sauces worked well with all meats. We left NO food on our plates here.
