I found a great spot for a quick bite while driving between Athens and the Florida panhandle, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The fried chicken tenders were huge and cooked perfectly, plus the seasoned fries were a hit. The friendly staff made the experience even better, and I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu!

This little hot dog shop has excellent food! I often get a hot dog with chili or a hamburger, and my daughter and I love the shakes! Their shakes aren't quite as sweet as other shakes, and I love the difference. They have cookies n cream and pecan, as well as vanilla, chocolate, and strawberries. We also love their onion rings, and the good company. It is located right on the square in Cuthbert in a historical old building [the square itself is a treat if you love 1890's architecture!]. They also have a daily special. It's family-owned and operated. The owner, as you probably guessed, graduated from U of Georgia, so there are Dawg souvenirs everywhere! The sunny yellow walls and red bench-style seats make you feel good just to walk in, then you're greeted by the friendly couple and you feel like family. Be sure and stop by when traveling through Cuthbert! BTW, I drive a power wheelchair, and I can get over the threshold pretty well, if it's not wet. There are few places in Cuthbert where shops aren't accessible for most of us on wheels.
