Today, our journey from Florida was well worth it as we arrived just in time for a delicious lunch. The fried chicken and fried okra were unparalleled, and the warm hospitality from Mrs. Paul and her team made the experience even more special, leaving me eager to return for more of their mouthwatering Southern cooking.

Food is the best and Mrs. Paul is the sweetest! I go to Dawson at least two times a week. Best fried chicken around and the dressing is just like my Grandmother made. The potato salad is best I have had also.

Just basic regular downhome food, like I was raised on, and can't get anymore. Don't need some great experience, just want to get fed good food in a good atmosphere, by good folks.

True Southern home cooking. Open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. I love the kitchen made hamburger steaks on Tuesday, the fried fish on Thursday and the chicken and dressing on Friday, and the great fried chicken every day! Took a friend from Savannah here some time back and she declared it better than Paula Deen's. I already knew that. So glad I am a local. Prices more than reasonable.
