The authentic Peruvian flavors truly stood out during our dinner with family, as dishes like the crispy tostones, flavorful lomo saltado, and refreshing mussels exceeded expectations. Despite the restaurant's simple and somewhat noisy atmosphere, the attentive service and comforting energy made the experience enjoyable, and I'm already looking forward to returning.

The restaurant offers excellent food, a vibrant ambience, and attentive service. My Peruvian family from California thoroughly enjoyed the authentic flavors during our dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the slightly loud atmosphere, we appreciated the fun energy and music, starting with delicious appetizers like toastones, mussels, and papa a la huancaina. The main dishes, such as lomo saltado and Chupe De Pescado, were full of flavor and left us satisfied. The staff's kindness and the overall familial feeling make this our favorite Peruvian spot in town.

People of variety of races and cultures CAN make different types of cultural foods deliciously. I go to Contigo Peru 1, 2, AND 3 multiple times and I am in love with its food. It's authentic Peruvian cuisine at its finest. (Of course if you want REAL Peruvian cuisine, go to Peru. That's where you'll find it. Not in any restaurant here in the US.) Other "Peruvian" restaurants around the Atlanta area simply do not compare to this wonderful restaurant. And so what if the waitresses or the cooks aren't Peruvian? Why the discrimination? They do their job correctly, make the Chicha Morada completely delicious, and the waitresses are a friendly lot. Other "Peruvian" restaurants make their food too bland and boring while in here I'm assaulted by delicious tastes from the wonderful cooks. And as you're probably wondering, yes I am Peruvian. I know real Peruvian cuisine and I do not criticize the people who work there simply for not being Peruvian. That's not bad; that's just simply being ignorant. Its as if you go to an Italian Restaurant and expect to find it filled with Italians. That's not being very realistic, now is it? Also as a side note: in the majority of restaurants now who do you find working in the kitchen? Think about it. One more thing, you're going there to eat not nit pick the workers' knowledge of that country; you're not their Examiner. That's rude. In conclusion: Contigo Peru 1, 2, & 3 rocks. Go sometime and learn a bit about our culture.
