I visited S&S Cafeteria on Walton Way and enjoyed a variety of classic Southern dishes like white meat quarter chicken with dressing, liver and onions, and peach cobbler, all seasoned well though some items had a tough texture or unusual smell. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff like Mr. Beasley and Ms. Monieka who made the experience memorable, even though the atmosphere felt a bit dated and could use some renovations. Despite occasional busy times and a somewhat drab interior, the comforting, home-cooked style food and genuine Southern hospitality keep me coming back whenever I'm in Augusta.

Visited S&S Cafeteria for a meal recently. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary. I appreciated the familiar cafeteria-style ordering and the friendly service, but the atmosphere could use a refresh. Overall, it's a solid spot for a simple, home-cooked meal if you're in the area.

Over the years I've been there several times and each time I arrived when they were closed. They close for a couple of hours between the end of lunch and the beginning of dinner. I have dined at their North Augusta, SC location before it closed.
I had to choose a rating (1-5 stars) to post this but I've not dined there so pay no attention to it.
