It's important to embrace happiness in the moment rather than waiting for specific circumstances to change. During a recent trip to Savannah, I enjoyed a casual beachside restaurant that offered delicious fried shrimp and a refreshing slushee cocktail. The service was friendly, and while there was a bit of a wait to get in, the food and atmosphere made it a worthwhile experience.

RUDE RUDE RUDE.. If I could leave negative stars I would. We called to place a to go order. The person on the phone told us the online menu was different. If we wanted to know the menu we would have to come in. We called again and asked if they could take a bigger to go order. Once we walked down to the restaurant, we were told at the door by the hostess that they did not do to go orders. After explaining that we had called 2 times already, we were told to go to the bar where they "won't bite your head off". We went to the bar and placed the order. Once the order was placed, and the ticket printed out in the kitchen, a woman from the back popped out and screamed what the hell is this. She was irate and screaming. Then the person who took the order looked at my wife and said don't ever come back and do this again. I have never been to a place more rude than this. I wish this was a isolated experience but this whole experience in tybee has been the same with the exception of the rudeness. People making the excuse about being short staffed is just a scape goat for being -ss holes. If I were you, I would take my car and drive to savannah. There are nicer people there. Also we spent nearly 300 dollars on a to go order. Had we showed up and eaten at the restaurant, we would have taken up time and space from them. The way I see it, we made them more money by getting food to go.

Spanky's was a pretty nice experience. The staff was friendly and the food tasty. Found out about them through https://visittybee.com/restaurants while searching for tybee island restaurants to dine out at during our last visit. We ordered something different and everything was quite good we enjoyed every bite. Will def go back!
