Every summer, my buddies and I venture up north to paddle through the scenic lakes of Minnesota. We've stayed in various resorts, but this year, we opted for Barney's Resort & Lodge - and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! The cabins were spotless, spacious, and equipped with top-of-the-line kitchen amenities, making it a cook's dream come true. Plus, the abundance of canoes and kayaks provided endless opportunities for exploration on the crystal-clear waters, with the added bonus of encountering majestic bald eagles soaring above. The only downside is that the immediate surroundings lack a rustic feel, but the incredible value, superb accommodations, and abundant water activities more than make up for it. So, if you're looking for a fantastic getaway up north, Barney's is the place to be!
